We have aquired a scanned set of the Personal Navigators from the Maiden Voyage of the Disney Fantasy. Give them a look! The Maiden Voyage was a Western Caribbean sailing with stops in Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Costa Maya and of course Castaway Cay.
This week Disney Cruise Line set a new gratuity policy fleet wide. Your onboard folio will be charged on embarkation day for the suggested amounts for your Server, Assistant Server, Head Server, and Stateroom Attendant. The full text of the release is below. After the full text i have posted the currently suggested rates for Disney Cruise Lines.
This last weekend during a Disney Fantasy press preview cruise the Disney Dream made some surprise appearances! Ricky Brigante over at Insidethemagic.net was onboard the Disney Fantasy and caught some impressive footage. Check out the full article he wrote here on the different surprises: http://bit.ly/GRFS9o
Todays picture is my favorite dessert on the Disney Dream! This is the Chocolate Brownie Cheesecake with Raspberry Coulis at the Animator's Palate! Now for the tip: If you see a couple things you'd like to have or try for dessert (or any course) feel free to order it! I have had a couple servers recommend trying multiple dishes! Get a couple extra appetizers and share them with the table! You can also order another round of that Cheesecake!

On the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy you can always tell which direction your going if you have lost your bearing. Just look down! The carpets in the stateroom corridors have a map showing part of the world and the 4 Disney Cruise Line ships. Follow the map north and you will be walking towards the bow (front) of the ships.
On the Disney Wonder and Disney Magic look for a subtle blue arrow that will point your way to the bow of the ship.
Last week at the christening of the Disney Fantasy each guest left with a set of replica Keel Coins from both the Disney Dream and the Disney Fantasy. The Legend of the Keel Coin reads:
"Placing a coin on the keel of the ships at the beginning of its build is an age-old tradition which solicits good fortune for the vessel during its construction and throughout its seagoing life."
The real keel coins are made of brass, while these replicas are made of copper.
